Among the scholarship winners was Ryan Borer of Buchanan, who was awarded the $2,500 Angus Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship.
A five-member committee consisting of industry experts, foundation board members, Angus breeders and National Junior Angus Association board members evaluated the applications. The committee considered involvement, participation, leadership, service, career goals and other criteria set forth in the scholarships’ fund agreements.
