As a result of the spread of the virus known as COVID-19, or coronavirus, and out of an abundance of caution, the Botetourt County administrative offices were closed to the public on Tuesday, March 17, and anticipate reopening on Monday, March 30.
Essential landfill, maintenance, custodial, central garage, and inspection staff and public safety personnel will remain in place during the closure. Non-essential staff will be working remotely.
The situation will be reassessed on a continual basis and additional information will be provided as appropriate.
