In addition, the monthly Board of Supervisors meetings will be live-streamed. Botetourt County is making it easier to watch board meetings and public hearings live or at the citizens’ convenience. The board made the decision to start streaming services as an internal goal for fiscal year ’24. Now, videos of the monthly meetings will be available live and on-demand in a YouTube playlist for anyone who may not be able to watch the livestream as it happens.
To achieve this goal, beginning July 17, the Board of Supervisors and public hearings will be live-streamed. Find out more information at www.botetourtva.gov/livestream. Meetings will be recorded and published on the Botetourt County YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC91r38woDSOQWv4H7y_ipmQ).
Important Note
Citizens will not be able to provide public comments on digital platforms while viewing the live stream. Persons wishing to make comments during the Citizen Comment Period portion of the meeting may attend the meeting in person, mail their comments to the Botetourt County Administrator’s Office (57 South Center Drive, Suite 200, Daleville, 24083), email their comments to the clerk, or submit comments through the Citizen Comment Form.
