To honor its employees and the community, Botetourt County is launching a new initiative called e3.

e3 stands for:

  • Encourage
  • Empower
  • Energize

The e3 team is made up of Botetourt County staff that will be exploring ways to encourage Botetourt County employees while empowering them to find their full potential. Initiatives will also take place to energize their minds and bodies.

e3 will also be focusing on gratitude and exploring ways to give back to the community. The first opportunity to give back to the community is setting out donation boxes for food/personal items at the county libraries and at the Greenfield Administration Center that will be sent to St. Mark’s Botetourt Food Pantry and Buchanan Presbyterian Church. Toys and restaurant gift cards for Toys 4 Bot-E-Tots are also being collected.

Donations will be collected through Friday, Dec. 10. Donations can be made by Botetourt County employees as well as our community members that visit the facilities.
