An early 20th century display case was donated to the Botetourt County Historical Society & Museum, Inc., in July of 2024 by Gwen Ikenberry. The oak and glass case has mirrored sliding doors in back and is 14-1/2” tall, 24” deep and 45” wide. It is being used in the Botetourt Museum to showcase some of Botetourt’s African American history. There is an original brass nameplate on the front which is titled Southern Bargain House Store Fixture, Richmond, Virginia.
