The Lord Botetourt indoor track team will compete in the “Bulldog Classic” at Liberty University this Saturday as the Cavaliers return from the holiday break.
The indoor harriers had three meets prior to Christmas. On December 1 and 2 they participated in the Virginia Commonwealth Games and on December 16 they had an outdoor “Polar Bear Meet.” Sofia Hernandez took a first in the girls 1,600 and 3,200 and the LB boys and girls swept the 4×800 and 4×400 relays. On December 21 LB competed in the Holiday Classic at Liberty University. Haley Saunders and Erin Kline were eighth and ninth in the high jump and Connor Hayes was eighth in the boys 1,600.
