Botetourt County libraries recently released the 2023 “Star Reader” list. These local readers read 4,000+ pages this summer. Each year Botetourt libraries have a digital challenge for participating patrons. This year local libraries challenged their patrons to read 500,000 pages as a community. They more than doubled that number and read 1,256,209 pages this summer.
