The Botetourt County Rotary Club has launched its third annual fall raffle. This year, the majority of proceeds will benefit the League for Animal Protection in Fincastle. The remainder will go toward Rotary’s End Polio Now, an initiative established over 30 years ago to eradicate polio across the globe, as well as toward future service projects supported by the Botetourt County Rotary Club.
Local businesses and individuals have donated 53 separate prizes this year, far more than in recent years, having a total value of just under $4,000. Tickets are $10 each, and total ticket sales are capped at 500. Anyone wishing to purchase tickets can call Angie Anderson, president, at (540) 589-8243 or contact any Botetourt Rotary Club member. Additional information on this year’s raffle can also be found on the club’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/botetourtrotaryclub.
The drawing will be on November 18 (noon) at Bellacino’s in Daleville. You do not need to be present to win.
