Maygan Nuckles, a Botetourt County resident, is now a published children’s book author, “So You Think You Want To Be A Superhero?”
In addition to being an author, Nuckles is an instructional technology resource teacher (ITRT) for Botetourt County Public Schools.
“So You Think You Want to Be a Superhero?” is a cautionary tale describing the plights of a boy superhero as he quickly discovers being a superhero isn’t as fun as he expected. There are no super-villains to battle, and the world doesn’t need to be saved from total domination. Instead, after showing off his powers to his friends and family, they needed his help, and a lot of it! This funny and captivating story uses real-world examples to teach children to be superheroes; all you have to do is help others. It is now available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
