The Botetourt Town and Country Women’s Club recently donated a set of children’s books to Mill Creek Child Care Center, supporting early literacy and a love of reading among young learners. The donation included popular titles such as “Mercy Watson: Adventures of Porcine Wonder” by Kate DiCamillo, along with Mo Willems’ beloved “Elephant & Piggie” series.  Known for their humor, expressive illustrations and engaging storytelling, these books encourage children to develop language skills while discovering the joy of reading.

Club members selected the books with the developmental needs of young children in mind, recognizing the important role early exposure to quality literature plays in building foundational learning skills.
