The Botetourt Fire & EMS Volunteer Fire Academy begins on August 13. The Academy includes Firefighter I, Firefighter II, and HAZMAT Operations.
Botetourt County volunteer participants must have completed the entire volunteer application process including a drug test, background check and eligibility letter on file. Class will be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and some weekends through January 2025.
Those from outside agencies may sign up for the Academy through the link provided. Cost is $125 per participant.
