Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation has the following road closures scheduled over the next month to replace various bridges:
- Rt. 682 (Sugar Tree Hollow Road) on February 14-15 to replace a bridge (Structure #6470) which is located 0.55 miles from Rt. 681 and 1.25 miles from Rt. 684.
- Rt. 643 (Goode Lane) on February 28-thru March 1 to replace a bridge (Structure #6207) which is located 0.15 miles from Rt. 640 and 0.20 from dead end. Also, on Rt. 643, VDOT plans to install a foot bridge so residents can get in and out.
