Buchanan Elementary fifth graders are participating in DARE classes with Sgt. Travis Alderman. The students learn how to make responsible decisions, how to respond to real life problems, and discuss their choices and consequences. “The students love working with Sgt. Alderman and look forward to his weekly visit to their classrooms. We are fortunate to have an officer who is approachable for the kids, and is always able to be counted on,” said teacher Teresa Witt.
