Second Sunday Dinner

All are invited on Sunday, August 13 at the Historic Wilson Warehouse for the Second Sunday Dinner fundraiser. The menu includes meatloaf, potatoes au gratin, mixed vegetables, dinner roll and dessert. dine in or carry out from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. Place reservations to dine in or orders for carry out by 12 p.m. on Saturday, August 12 by calling 540-580- 8944, or text message 540-510-0780. Include your name, phone number or email and the number of meals you wish to order. You will receive a follow-up confirmation.

 

Mountain Magic In Fall Festival

It’s time to register to be part of Buchanan’s 2023 Mountain Magic In Fall Festival scheduled for Saturday, October 7. The town is accepting applications for craft, art, antique and food vendors, as well as applications for entries in to the Antique & Classic Auto and Tractor Show. LEAP Farmers Market

The LEAP Farmers Market is this Wednesday, August 2 in the parking lot of the Buchanan Town Park at 485 Lowe Street from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. The LEAP Market offers locally grown food products including eggs, meats, cheeses, fruits and vegetables. This market sets up on the first and third Wednesday of each month. Everyone is invited to shop there.

 

Botetourt County Fair

Make memories with your family during the Botetourt County Fair on Friday and Saturday, August 11-12. Organized by the Botetourt County Fair Association Inc., the fair is a free admission event taking place on the Buchanan Town Park at 485 Lowe Street. The fair provides an opportunity for children and adults to learn more about the rich agricultural heritage of the region from local working farms and 4-H programs, as well as sample local fare including Botetourt grown products.
