Buchanan Community Christmas Market
More than 20 vendors will set up along Buchanan’s downtown Main Street sidewalks as part of Buchanan’s Community Christmas Market on Saturday, Dec. 11, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Buchanan makes it easier to shop small and shop local with crafters offering a mix of handmade goods including wreaths, jewelry, Christmas décor, antiques and more. Saturday will be an incredible parade day filled with family-oriented activities.
Buchanan Festival of Lights Illumination
Make memories with your family this Saturday, Dec. 4th at 6 p.m. during Buchanan’s Grand Illumination of Festival of Lights on the Buchanan Town Park at 485 Lowe Street. Lights will go on at 6 p.m. and remain lighted until 9 p.m. Lights will be on each evening with drive-thru on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and walk-thru on Mondays through Thursdays. Admission to the Festival of Lights is free but donations are being accepted to help purchase new lights for additional displays. Santa will be at the Gazebo on December 3, 10 and 17.
Selfies with Santa
Take your family photos with Santa on the Town Park during Festival of Lights at the gazebo on the Town Park on Fridays, Dec. 3, 10 and 17, from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. Bring cameras and cell phones to take photos. Parking is available in the parking lot across from Solomon’s Mission and visitors may walk over to the gazebo to take photos.
Buchanan Christmas Parade
Save the date of Saturday, Dec. 11 for Buchanan’s annual Christmas Parade. Line up begins at 3 p.m. with the parade beginning at 4 p.m. The theme for this year’s parade is “For the Kids.”
Second Sunday Dinner
The Town Improvement Society’s monthly Second Sunday Curbside Pick Up Dinner is Sunday, Dec. 11. December’s menu includes Fresh Green Salad, Herb Crusted Pork, Stuffing, Creamed Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables, Dinner Roll and Dessert for $12.
