• Reggae by the River – Save the Date of Saturday, July 31 for Reggae By the River. Enjoy jamming on the James with performances by Sol Roots Band and the Lazy Man Dub Band. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., music starts at 5 p.m. and continues until 10 p.m. Admission at the gate is $10 for adults and children 12 and under are free with an adult. In addition to the music, vendors will be set up selling food and beverages by PA Short, as well as crafts. No pets, coolers or outside food will be allowed. • Vendors wanted for the Buchanan Farmers’/Community Market on Saturday, August 7 with activities taking place along Main Street from 10 a.m. through 3 p.m. Activities include a Community/Farmer’s Market in the parking lot next to Town Hall. The town is looking for vendors to sell home grown vegetables, eggs and farm products as well as hand-crafted items. Space is $5 per space.
