LEU stops in Buchanan during trip from Roanoke to Washington, D.C.
Buchanan welcomed 65+ cyclists and support staff with LEU (Law Enforcement United) Virginia Division as they stopped at the Buchanan Town Park for a rest stop as they make their way towards Washington, D.C. The organization is a group of Law Enforcement, Survivors, and Civilian supporters who have made it their mission to honor the fallen and remember the survivors. This organization is a 100% volunteer-driven organization.
Buchanan welcomes entrepreneurs to be part of the town’s monthly Buchanan Farmers’/Community Market on Saturday, May 30 in the parking lot next to Town Hall from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
The activity provides and opportunity for entrepreneurs to test the market for their products while adding to the vibrancy of downtown. The Buchanan Market invites individuals who would like to sell locally raised eggs, produce, home-grown plants, art, handmade crafts and other complimentary items.
