Buchanan Drive Thru Trunk or Treating – Join us on Oct. 31, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. for Buchanan’s first ever, Trunk or Treat on the Buchanan Town Park. Trick or treat from the safety of your car as you drive through, roll your windows down, and collect candy for your trick or treat bags! The event will also feature a competition for the Best Mask, Best Decorated Trunk and Best Costume! Buchanan Chicken Soup Drive – The Town of Buchanan is so grateful to everyone who helped us surpass our goal for collecting peanut butter for the Elementary School Backpack Buddy Program ahead of schedule. We are now collecting cans of soup for the Backpack Buddy Program. Please bring your cans of soup to the Buchanan Town Hall on Main Street. Buchanan Festival of Lights – The Town is starting a new tradition this year, a drive thru light display, and, we need your help. If you would like to make a financial donation to help purchase lights, please mail a check to Town of Buchanan Festival of Lights, P.O. Box 205, Buchanan, Virginia 24066.
