Mountain Magic In Fall Festival
Experience the “magic” of small town America during Buchanan’s 27th annual Mountain Magic In Fall Bluegrass, Antiques & Crafts Festival on Saturday, October 1st, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Explore more than 100 vendor spaces throughout the Town Park. Vendors fill their booths with Art, Antiques, Crafts, and great food. Additional activities include an Antique and Classic Autos and Antique Tractor Show lining Lowe Street. The public is invited to bring a lawn chair to sit a spell while enjoying traditional and contemporary Bluegrass musicians as they play from Center Stage. The Festival’s musical performances help keep the musical heritage of Bluegrass alive by introducing a new generation of listeners to this uniquely American form of music. Shop, stroll, and dine along Buchanan’s historic Main Street. An exciting mix of locally owned shops overflowing with arts, antiques & collectibles, the Friends of the Buchanan Library Book Sale, and locally owned restaurants featuring great southern cooking. Be sure to walk the famous Swinging Bridge over the James River.
Mountain Magic In Fall Festival Vendors & Auto Show Entries Wanted
Be part of Buchanan’s Mountain Magic In Fall Festival scheduled for Saturday, October 1st. The town is accepting applications for craft vendors, artists, and antique vendors as well as entries for the Antique Auto and Tractor Show. Buchanan Christmas Lights Donations
The Town of Buchanan is accepting donations towards the 2022 Festival of Light Christmas Lights Display. If anyone wishes to make a donation, checks may be made payable to the Town of Buchanan Christmas Lights, Post Office Box 205, Buchanan, Virginia 24066.

Second Sunday Dinner
Time to place an order for Second Sunday Dinner on Sunday, October 9. Pick up from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. The Historic Wilson Warehouse offers curbside meals featuring homemade meatloaf, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, dinner roll, and dessert for $12. Proceeds help preserve the Historic Wilson Warehouse. Orders must be placed by Friday, October 8. To place an order, please call 540-580-8944 or text message 540-510-0780.
