Bus driver Warren Burch and Instructional Technology Resource teacher (ITRT) Robert White were recognized as December 2024 Botetourt County Public Schools (BCPS) Employees of the Month last week.
Superintendent Dr. Jonathan Russ congratulated the recognized employees and read quotes from the employees’ nominations before each recipient received their certificate of recognition. Regarding Burch’s nomination, Russ read, “Warren loves the students on his bus. He recently switched to a smaller bus where he has become closer with the boys and girls. They give him lots of hugs when they see him and it makes his heart happy seeing them every day.”
White’s nomination included, “Rob goes above and beyond his job duties and is the most helpful person you will ever meet,” Russ read. “He responds to help desk tickets quickly and will persist until he fully resolves your question or problem even if it may be outside of the scope of his usual duties.”
