Camp Bethel’s “Botetourt Day Camp 2” will be held Monday-Thursday, 6-8:30 p.m., June 19-22, at Cloverdale Church of the Brethren, 4708 Read Mountain Road, Cloverdale. The event is for rising kindergarteners through sixth graders.
Each day, bring a water bottle. Camp Bethel will provide evening snacks. On Thursday, June 22, families are invited for a free 7:30 cookout dinner and celebration hosted by the families of Cloverdale church.
Camp Bethel’s counselors bring daily summer camping fun. Campers will enjoy group games, crafts, silly and fun songs, Bible lessons, GaGa Ball, 4-Square and 9-Square-in-the-Air, parachute games, nature lessons, water games, plus several fun site-specific outdoor adventures. The Traveling Day Camp theme is “Branching Out: Connected Through Christ.”
This program is free, but providing this program costs Camp Bethel $18/camper/day ($72 per four days); families are asked to donate what they can. Donations can be made at drop off or pick up (payable to payable to Camp Bethel) or at the secure “Payment” page: www.CampBethelVirginia.org/payment.
