Nancy was born in the City of Roanoke on June 27, 1933. She was a 1951 graduate of Jefferson High School and worked for many years as a general and legal secretary. She and Claude were married on May 8, 1959, in Roanoke and had shared a wonderful life together.
She was a member of the North Roanoke Baptist Church. She loved being a Sunday School Teacher, had served as a church pianist, church training director, and many other positions in the churches where she worshipped.
She served as the co-president of the Troutville Parent-Teachers Association and could always be counted on helping with hard work. Nancy also loved her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.
Special thanks are given to the nursing staff at The Glebe in Daleville for the care given to Nancy.
