The Catawba Valley Farmers Market will open the 2017 season on May 11. The market is held each Thursday from 3:3097 p.m., at the Catawba Community Center on Catawba Creek Road (Rt. 779) just down from the Post Office.
Spaces are available for full-time and part-time vendors. All produce and other food items must be grown locally. All crafts must be handmade by local vendors. Anyone interested in selling at the Catawba Valley Farmers Market should contact Ann Harrell, market manager, at 864-5913 or catawbafarmersmarket@outlook.com. The deadline for applications is April 14.
