Some Lord Botetourt soccer players participated in an 8-on-8 tournament at William Fleming High School on February 3. The boys won the “Colonel Cup” with a record of 6-0 for the day. “It’s a fun little preseason event to get the boys out and kick the ball around,” said LB soccer coach Taylor Leonard, who opened official spring practice this week. “They play against other schools that bring some kids together that are able to attend all the way from 9th grade up to 12th grade. Great event for the soccer community.” The Cavaliers will participate in a preseason jamboree at Bogle Field this Saturday.
