The Botetourt County Chamber of Commerce will be holding a networking lunch this Thursday at Murray Cider Co Inc. at 11:30 a.m.
Marj Easterling, the owner of Big Lick Screen Printing in Roanoke, will be the featured speaker. She will be speaking about her venture into the t-shirt creating business and how she grew her business as a single mother after completing two science degrees to become a dental hygienist.
According to the chamber, “Marj is a tireless supporter of the local community through her promotion of small businesses, support of non-profits, mentoring other business owners, and welcoming school groups to her shop so they can learn about silk screening. She does what she can to assist others to be successful personally and professionally, believing that this is the path to success. With a life philosophy to ‘learn as much as you can, go on as many great adventures as possible, and do what you can to make someone’s day,’ Marj brings kindness, joy, and business acumen to all those she comes in contact with.“
