The Town of Buchanan held its annual Christmas Parade Saturday afternoon along Main Street. Over 40 floats representing local groups, organizations, and schools were featured in last Saturday’s event.
This year, the parade attendees saw floats from Bank of Botetourt, American Legion Post 93, High Bridge Presbyterian Church, Boone Tractor, Titus Machine Repair, Tammie’s Place, Botetourt 4-H Livestock Club, James River High School FFA, The Bridge Christian Academy, and Fincastle Baptist Church, plus the Lord Botetourt High School marching band, James River High School marching band, Botetourt 4-H Robotics, Night Crawlers Virginia Chapter’s 20 Jeeps, Buchanan Volunteer Fire Department, Glasgow Rescue Squad, Natural Bridge Fire Department, and Fincastle Fire Department, and more.
This year’s winners were: 1st place – Night Crawlers Virginia Chapter Jeeps; 2nd place – Lord Botetourt High School band; and 3rd place – Titus Machine Repair.
