Colonial Baptist Sportsmen’s Dinner features food, contests, special speaker
Colonial Baptist Church in Blue Ridge invites everyone to the Sportsmen’s Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 5 at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m. This is a free event with door prizes, mount contests, and more. Come early (at 5 p.m.) to display your mount for the contest.
Guest speaker is Chip Studer (My Day of Infamy). You will be blessed by the motivating testimony of this disabled veteran, and each veteran present will be honored.
The Sportsmen’s Dinner is for the entire family and there is no charge to attend. A freewill donation will be received for God’s Pit Crew as it aids the disaster victims in Kentucky and the Midwest.

Solomon’s Mission begins Senior Shopping Thursday
Solomon’s Mission will offer Senior Shopping for ages 55 and up on the first Thursday of each month from 12 to 2 p.m. The first is this Thursday, Feb. 3. During this time, senior citizens may buy one bag of clothing for $3 and get one bag free.
Solomon’s Mission is located on Lowe Street in Buchanan.
February hours at Eagle Rock Clothes Closet
The Clothes Closet at Eagle Rock United Methodist Church will be open Saturday, Feb. 5, from 9 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Feb. 9, from 5-6:30 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 12 from 9 a.m. to noon.
