Springwood Food Pantry open this Saturday
The Springwood Baptist Food Pantry will be open on Saturday, Jan. 15, from 9-10:30 a.m. The pantry is located at 88 Copps Hill Road, Buchanan. Clients are asked to remain in their cars and food orders will be delivered to them. Additionally, clients are asked to wear masks, practice social distancing, and use proper hand hygiene while visiting the pantry. These measures will help to keep everyone safe as food is picked up. The pantry is a partner with Feeding America Southwest Virginia and distributes USDA food on the third Saturday of each month to clients.
Missions Sunday, Movie Night at Pleasant Hill Baptist
Pleasant Hill Baptist will host a Missions Sunday on January 16 at 11 a.m. The Fry Family will be at Pleasant Hill to talk about their mission in Africa. There will be a luncheon immediately following morning worship. All are invited.
Pleasant Hill Baptist will hold Movie Night on January 30 at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall. The movie will be “God’s Not Dead: We the People.” Admission is free and refreshments will be provided. Chairs will be provided or bring your own.
