Cloverdale Thrift Store open Saturdays
Cloverdale Church of the Brethren Thrift Store has fall and winter clothes for the entire family, and lots of Christmas decorations and gifts. Sweaters are only $1.50. The store is in need of women’s tops and children’s clothes. The store is open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
Special services at Pleasant Hill Baptist
Pleasant Hill Baptist will also be hosting the Christmas Celebration and Nativity Service on Sunday, December 10 at 11 a.m. The children and youth will perform with the PHBC Choir and Handbell Choirs.
On Monday, December 18, PHBC will be hosting the FLOURISH Homeschool Christmas Concert at 6:30 p.m.
Pleasant Hill Baptist will be holding a Christmas caroling event on Wednesday, December 20 as groups head out to local nursing homes to share some Christmas joy! Please meet at PHBC at 5:15 p.m.
Friday, December 22, the PreK and Elementary Children’s Christmas Party will be held from 1-3 p.m. at PHBC. All are welcome to this fun event.
PHBC will be holding a Candlelight Christmas Eve Service on December 24 at 5 p.m. All are invited to these and any services at Pleasant Hill.
Buchanan Food Pantry open Saturday
The Buchanan Presbyterian Church Food Pantry will be open on Saturday, November 25 from 9-11 a.m. Volunteers from St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Daleville will distribute food curbside. Meat, bread, eggs, milk and other staples will be available. Anyone in need is welcome. The church is located at 19559 Main Street, Buchanan.
