Church group plans trip to dinner theater

The bus seats 50 passengers but the group will only take 30 passengers; 50 percent of the tables and chairs have been removed from the theater so social distancing can be observed. Springwood Food Pantry opening Oct. 17
The Springwood Baptist Food Pantry will reopen on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 9-11 a.m. after being closed for six months due to the pandemic. Regular clients are welcome, as well as others in the community who are in need of food.
The pantry is connected to Feeding America Southwest Virginia and provides a variety of food items to clients to supplement what families are able to provide for themselves.
