BAMA meeting Thursday at Limestone Park
The Buchanan Area Ministerial Association (BAMA) will have a gathering on Thursday, September 14 at the Limestone Park Pavilion regarding the work and projects that BAMA assists and how churches and other groups can be involved. Food and fellowship begin at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
Homecoming Sunday at King Memorial
King Memorial Church in Oriskany will observe Homecoming on Sunday, September 17.
Worship will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a potluck lunch and fellowship.

Austin and Friends return with ‘Psalm 23’ concerts
David Austin and Friends continue their series of concerts featuring songs inspired by and based on Psalm 23. The performances will deliver all new and original compositions in a variety of musical styles.
The remaining concert will be at Springwood Baptist Church on Sept. 17 at 4 p.m. (88 Copps Hill Rd., Buchanan).
Members of the band include Robert Smith, Jacob Holdren, Keith Wood, Kristen Smith, and David Austin.

Half-off sale at Cloverdale Thrift Shop
Cloverdale Church of the Brethren Thrift Shop is celebrating month of September with an end-of-season sale. Everything in the shop is one-half off except Halloween items. The shop is open every Saturday, 9 to 12.
Pleasant Hill Baptist upcoming activities

Pleasant Hill Baptist will have revival services on Sunday, September 17 through Wednesday, September 20. Dr. Tom Stocks will be leading the revival each night at 7 p.m. There will be special music and fellowship nightly.
Springwood Food Pantry open September 16
The Springwood Baptist Food Pantry will be open on Saturday, September 16 from 9-10:30 a.m. The pantry is located at 88 Copps Hill Road, Buchanan. This pantry is a drive-through pantry, so clients may remain in their cars and volunteers will load the food for them.
The pantry is open each month on the third Saturday from 9-10:30 a.m. It is a partner with Feeding America Southwest Virginia and anyone in need of food is invited.
Homecoming Sunday at Springwood Baptist
Springwood Baptist Church invite everyone to the 191st Homecoming Anniversary Sunday, September 17. Worship will be at 10:30 a.m., led by Pastor Mike Anderson. Food and fellowship will follow; bring a favorite side dish and dessert. Chicken will be provided by the church.
Later that day a concert will be presented by David Austin & Friends, based on Psalm 23, at 4 p.m.
Community Fall Festival at Colonial Baptist
Colonial Baptist Church in Blue Ridge invites everyone to the annual Community Fall Festival on Saturday, September 30 from 3:30-7 p.m. There will be free food and fun for the entire family.
