Clarence Anderson Stinnett, 78, of Buchanan, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022.
Clarence was a member of the Buchanan Baptist Church where he served the Lord as Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and member of the Adult Choir. He loved hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Edward Stinnett and mother, Mary Smith Eubank; step-father, Dick Eubank; sister, Mary Elizabeth Cox; and brothers, Eddie and Tony Stinnett.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Linda Zimmerman Stinnett; daughters and sons-in-law, Cassada and Jimmy Harris of Buchanan, Candice and Ronnie Morris of Ruckersville; grandchildren, Jaycee and Haylee Harris, Cailyn and Kinsley Morris; sister, Nancy Deacon of Vinton; brother, George M. Cox of Buchanan; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday, January 23, at 2 p.m. in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Naff and Pastor Mike Woody officiating. The family received friends one hour prior to the service. Interment was private. Memorial donations may be made to the Building Fund of Buchanan Baptist Church, P.O. Box 537, Buchanan, 24066.
