It’s a Sunday and it’s also Valentine’s Day, but the best Class 3 swimmers in the state will love to be in the water for the State Meet at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center.
The boys are tentatively scheduled to swim at 1 p.m. with the girls at 6:15 p.m., but that is subject to change depending on how many schools participate. The organizers are intending to split the meet into two sessions.
“They will combine to one meet if the numbers are low enough, but at this time they are not expecting to be able to do that,” said LB coach Ashley Safrit. The boys’ session starts at 1 and the girls’ session starts at 6:15.
