Clifford Eugene Hoppe, 91, of Buchanan, passed peacefully to the Lord on Sunday, August 22, 2021.
The love, pride and joy of his life was his family: wife of 64 years, Mary Joan; son, Vincent (Heather); daughter, Brenda (Chip); grandchildren, Bethany (deceased), Travis (Brittany), Bryan, and Dalton (Jo); great grandchildren, Aspen, Jovie, Sutton, and Emory.
He served nine years in US Navy and then went on to retire from NSA.
A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Condolences to the family may be made at www.botetourtfuneralhome.com.
