Since November 2021, Botetourt County has dedicated the month of November to reflecting on what makes the community such a wonderful place to live, work, play, and give back. From the breathtaking beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the winding James River to the warm smiles of local business owners, the county has so much to be #BoCoGrateful for.
Botetourt County invites residents celebrate the community. Follow Botetourt County Libraries, Botetourt County, and other local organizations on social media. Use the hashtag, #BoCoGrateful, to share expressions of gratitude for the county.
This year the county continues celebrating gratitude with its first BOCO Grateful Photo Contest. Residents are invited to upload photos of things that they are grateful for in Botetourt County. It could be a photo of beautiful scenery, a family member, or a business – and that’s just a few ideas. The winner will be announced at the beginning of December and will receive a $50 gift card to the Botetourt County business of their choice. For more information and contest rules, visit www.botetourtva.gov/bocograteful. Throughout November Botetourt County will also highlight the incredible individuals who make the county remarkable.
