The Simmons family has been a pillar of Botetourt County for decades. Curtis was a residential homebuilder in Botetourt for over 30 years and was the builder and developer of Simmons Industrial Park, Botetourt Plaza, and Cedar Ridge Subdivision.
Together, they raised their six children in Botetourt County, many of whom are leaders and volunteers in various county organizations and services.
The celebration was a tribute to their lifelong commitment to each other, and the enduring legacy that they will leave to their children, 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
