Daleville Town Center announced on Monday that it does not plan to hold events in July.
“Concern for the safety, wellbeing and health of Daleville Town Center residents, commercial partners and visitors fosters the need for prudent decisions in operating our special events facility. As our state enters Phase Three and following much consideration, we do not plan to host special event activities in July,” Molly Henry, director of events and sales & marketing, said. “We will reevaluate the feasibility of safe operations on a month-to-month basis. While this is not the future any of us hoped to confront, the well being of our community remains a priority and we appreciate the public’s understanding and continued support as we navigate this unique time. The mandates imposed for our business sector do not allow us to open safely and, quite frankly, we do not feel it’s prudent to endorse public gatherings at this time.”
The center noted that presenting sponsor, Bank of Botetourt, along with additional corporate partners, Bud Light Seltzer – PA Short Distributing, John Alderson Agency, Lumos Networks, Wampler Realty – Century 21, The Bank of Fincastle, Stateson Homes, Valley Business Front and Virginia Mountain Mortgage have been notified of these plans. “The continued community support afforded by our partners is unparalleled during this unique time” Henry stated.-==
