David Burke Miller, 91, of Daleville, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022.
Dave was a retired professor of electrical engineering residing at The Glebe. He was born on October 8, 1930, to the late James K. And Virginia Burke Miller in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was married to Ann Ballweg in 1954.
Dave and Ann moved to Roanoke where he enjoyed hiking and helping to maintain the Appalachian Trail as a member of the Appalachian Trail Club. He also enjoyed his membership in the Roanoke Valley Amateur Radio Club with the call sign KS4JB. He and Ann were members of the Bonsack/ Blue Ridge Ruritan and the Bonsack United Methodist Church.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ann; sons, Stephen, Fred, and Andrew; daughters, Susan and Katherine; sister, Ardra; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
