Alisa Davidova of Lord Botetourt High competed in the Class 3 state golf tournament Monday at the Heritage Oaks Golf Course in Harrisonburg and tied for fourth place. Alisa shot a 74.
“She didn’t have the round she expected, but battled through,” said LB coach Todd Smith. “Fourth in the state is still pretty good.”
The James River golfers qualified for the Class 2 tournament as a team and were set to play Tuesday as the paper went to press. Look for results in next week’s Fincastle Herald sports section.
