A National Day of Prayer gathering will be held from 12-1 p.m. on Thursday, May 9 at the VFW Hall, 4902 Roanoke Road (Route 220), Daleville.
“Get some spiritual food on your lunch break with encouragement and empowerment to be ‘salt and light’ (Matthew 5:13-16) in this dark world,” one of the organizers said. “With prayers and positive action, you can make a positive difference in our society.”
The event will be held rain or shine; gather in the covered picnic shelter or indoors if raining.
