Attic Productions is presenting a high-energy comedy, “Dearly Beloved” by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten, this week.
The Futrelle sisters are back in this “Southern fried” comedy about a wedding gone wrong from the writers of “The Golden Girls,” directed by Wyatt Ewell. It will be presented at Attic’s D. Geraldine Lawson Performing Arts Center, 7490 Roanoke Road, Fincastle, May 9-12. Thursday and Friday evening shows begin at 7:30, and Saturday and Sunday matinees begin at 2:30.
This delightful comedy is about love, marriage, sisterhood, and 300 pounds of good ol’ Texas barbeque. An over-the-top wedding has been planned, but with three feuding sisters and a church full of small town eccentrics, what could possibly go wrong?
Adult tickets are $20, students 18 and under and groups of 10 or more are $15 when paid in cash or by check at the box office. A $2 convenience fee per ticket will be added if paying with a card. Tickets may be purchased at the door or on the Attic Productions website by visiting www.atticproductions.info. For questions or assistance with purchasing tickets, call the box office at 540-473-1001. Volunteers are staffing the box office for this show on Wednesday from 3 to 5 pm. Leave a message at other times and your call will be returned as soon as possible.
This show is produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service. Partial funding support comes from the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
