The Democratic Committee of Botetourt County will be holding its monthly Zoom meeting on March 1 at 7 p.m.
The meeting will open with a brief business meeting, followed by a presentation by Delegate Hala Ayala, a candidate for lieutenant governor, at 7:15 p.m. At 7:30 p.m., another candidate for lieutenant governor, Sean Perryman of Fairfax, will speak.
Following the two lieutenant governor candidates, the members will hear from the founder of the Rural Leadership Initiative, Jack “Alex” White III from Page County. This organization was formed to explore solutions to the unique problems that rural areas face.
