
Lord Botetourt graduate Noah Donaho, a freshman at Roanoke College, hit his first two collegiate home runs on Saturday when the Maroons swept a doubleheader from William Peace University in Salem. Noah had a home run in each game of a 13-4, 9-0 sweep. Through eight games, Donaho is hitting .364. He’s scored seven runs and leads the team with nine runs-batted-in. The Maroons are now 7-1 with four home games this week, all at Salem Memorial Ballpark. They were scheduled to host North Carolina Wesleyan on Tuesday and Mary Baldwin on Wednesday at 1 p.m., and they open ODAC play on Saturday with a doubleheader against Bridgewater beginning at 11 a.m.
