Dorian Marie James, aka “The Warden,” 72, of Goodview, was called home on Sunday, May 29, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Howard Jones; her husband, William James; brother, Mike Jones; and she left behind three unborn children.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, David James (Holly) and Kevin James (Anitra); daughter, Amy James (Ronald Jones); grandchildren, Bella, Alannah, Gavin, Keely, Noah, Bailey, and Eli; brothers, Darryl Jones (Cindy) and Robbie Jones; and sister, Sharon Hartwell.
She graduated from Jefferson High School and worked in the healthcare field for more than 40 years. She was an avid QVC fan.
The family wishes to thank Eddie and Donna Hurley for their care and support.
A celebration of her life was conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 3, at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel with Pastor Tom Nester officiating. The family received friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
