Judy Landis Hepler Drewry, 78, of Fincastle, rose to her heavenly home on Monday, November 27, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John “Tom” Drewry; parents, Earl and Sylvia Landis; sister, Norma Zehrung, and brothers, Guy and Ammond Landis.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Honey Hepler, Kevin and Crystal Hepler; grandchildren, Derek (Chelsea) Hepler, Ryan (Mandy) Hepler, Racheal Hepler, Kyle (Lindley) Hepler; great-grandchildren, Mia and Miles Hepler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The beach was her happy place, where she loved searching for shells, sand dollars, and shark teeth. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her hobbies were gardening, baking, and making crafts. She loved traveling and going on adventures with her loving husband, Tom.
She retired from the Botetourt County Sheriff’s Department as a dispatcher with almost 30 years of service. She was a member of Fincastle Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2023 at Fincastle Baptist Church with Pastor Kevin Cummings officiating. Interment was in Godwin Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 30, in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. The family wishes memorial contributions be made to Fincastle Baptist Church.
