Natural Bridge State Park will hold an Earth Day Celebration Saturday, April 22.
The Botetourt Beekeepers Association will be on hand in the state park’s indoor classroom (bottom level of the visitor center) for special demonstrations from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Visitors will be able to learn about the importance of pollinators. They also will be able to join a park naturalist in the classroom and kids will be able to make a simple pollinator craft to take home.
Also, the Virginia Department of Forestry will be available at the entrance to Cedar Creek trail offering one free tree seedling per family to take home and plant (while supplies last).
