Botetourt Fire & EMS hosted the first Build-A-Kit Night at Bellacino’s Pizza and Grinders in Daleville on September 13. More than 35 households came to build an emergency preparedness starter kit and left more prepared in the event of an emergency. The remaining supplies will be used in the days ahead as the emergency personnel visit a class at Breckinridge Elementary School this week and National Night Out on October 5 at Fincastle Baptist Church. Servpro of Roanoke, Montgomery and Pulaski Counties sponsored the event, Lowe’s on Challenger Avenue supplied the buckets and Bellacino’s provided its banquet room for the event.
