Fifth Annual Botetourt Chamber of Commerce Tinsel Trail

The Botetourt Chamber Tinsel Trail returns Dec. 6 in Fincastle.

The public is invited to experience the magic of beautifully decorated trees, specially designed by local businesses and organizations. Opening night is Friday, December 6, at 6 p.m. in historic downtown Fincastle. Walk the Botetourt Chamber of Commerce Tinsel Trail sponsored by First Bank to view the beauty of the trees highlighting the evening. The decorated trees remain up through the entire month of December.

Dates to remember:

Dec. 6, 6-8 p.m. – Opening night

  • Christmas Carols by: Central Academy Middle School Choir
  • Kool Kids Diggity Dogs Food Truck
  • & Mrs. Claus
  • Tour a Fincastle Fire Truck
  • Have local children sent their letters to Santa yet? No worries, the Tinsel Trail provides all the necessary supplies.
  • First Bank will be serving free hot chocolate in front of First Bank, with special appearances by local Snowfriends.
  • * The first 75 children to visit Santa will receive a free Dairy Queen coupon

Dec. 20, 6-8 p.m. – First Bank will be serving free hot chocolate in front of the bank with special appearances by local Snowfriends.

The Tinsel Trail is on display throughout December for self-guided tours. Arrangements may be made with the Chamber for private tours of the Tinsel Trail. Call Bobbie Bowman (540-798-5134 or 540-798-1405) to schedule a date.

Dates to decorate the trees are Dec. 4-6.

Dates to take down the tree decorations are January 1-3, 2025. Please have the ornaments removed by January 3.

The Tinsel Trail could not happen without the generous support of area sponsors and donors.
