Just in time for the Fincastle Festival, the Fincastle Friends of the Library will hold a used book sale on Thursday, September 25 (9 a.m.-6 p.m.), Friday, September 26 (9-5), and Saturday, September 27 (9-4).
There will be many gently used books, puzzles, games and movies for people of all ages and interests. On Thursday, items will be priced individually. On Friday and Saturday, you can get books by the bag: $10 on Friday and $5 on Saturday. Plan to pay with cash or check.
Thanks to generous donations from folks in the community, the Fincastle Library meeting room will be packed with books. The group is still accepting donations, even during the sale.
All proceeds from the sale help to support the library, including contributions to the cost of furnishings, supplies and programming, such as special events and Summer Learning. All types of contributions to the library and the community – used books, volunteer time, and shopping – are appreciated.
