The First Baptist Church of Fincastle (established in 1831) will be celebrating its 191st Anniversary on Sunday, October 16 during the 11:00 a.m. service. The church was established in 1831. It has stood firmed on the Solid Rock which is Jesus Christ. It continues to spread the Word of God through church services, bible study, prayer and praise, fellowship and community activities.
Rev. Montie E. Brown Sr, who is the Pastor of First Baptist Church of Fincastle has been a loving, faithful, committed, dedicated servant and leader to God’s people.
This church celebration gives the congregation an opportunity to be thankful and not only look back at how far we’ve come as a church community but also to look forward to all the blessings the Lord still holds as we continue to do His work.
